History of Yoshi's

Native of Nagano in Japan, Yoshi Natori opened the first Yoshi's Fresh Asian Grill on 24 st & Indian School in 1989. Yoshi's has been a pioneer to this fast food mecca in the Phoenix area. Yoshi's offers not only quick, tasty food, friendly service at reasonable prices, but also healthy dishes. Recently Yoshi's added "Mixed grain rice" on the menu as a healthy choice. In the future Yoshi's will try Tofu and Natto(fermented soybeans) dishes as well.

What makes Yoshi's food taste so Fresh?

We use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients.
Our chicken, vegetables and sauces are never frozen.
We make our own sauces fresh, from a secret Yoshi Family recipe.

What is Teriyaki?

The word Teriyaki is a combination of two Japanese words "teri" and "yaki". Teri means luster and yaki meansgrill or broil.
To make a teriyaki dish, ingredients are broiled, roasted, or grilled after being marinated in or basted by teriyaki sauce.
It's the teriyaki sauce that brings the shiny look (teri) to the ingredients.
Our sauce is made daily at all our locations witht the freshest ingredients and no preservatives.
That's what makes Yoshi's sauce the best.
